Brockenhurst win 3rd round

A fine level par round of 70 from Kyle Gaster of Sussex Downs was not enough to keep Brockenhurst College from winning the team gross event in the ICT tour. They regain the overall lead with South Downs maintaining their lead in the Nett team standings.

British Schools National Finals at St Andrews

The British Schools national final are due to be held at St Andrews Bay on April 25th and 26th 2012. Both days will be held on the championship Torrance course. The Torrance Course, Par 72 and 7,230 yards, originally designed by Sam Torrance now re-designed with 8 new holes and classic Scottish revetted bunkering throughout

Area 6 British Schools Results

Last week saw the second round of area 6 in the British Schools and Colleges tour. Lee Westwood school Essex won both the gross and the nett in the team event leaving Easton team A standing second for both events. Jack Yule from Lee Westwood took the individual trophy with a gross 71.

HARTPURY MAKE CLEAN SWEEP

Hartpury College Golf team got of to a quick start in The British Schools and Colleges Golf Tour. Their A team won the gross competition by 19 shots over their B team. Millfield were a further 9 shots behind in 3 place.

ICT Area B

Balby Carr  team A completed a gross and nett double in round 1 of the area B league hosted by Myerscough College at Blackpool North Shore. 2nd place went to Myerscough A and 3rd place to Balby Carr team B in both gross and nett competitions.

Wellington College retain Schools Cup

24 teams took part in this years Schools Cup at The Shire London. The wind was a factor in the competition as team scores showed. The rain stayed away and some good score began to come in. Favorites Wellington eventually came in 13 shots ahead of Worksop to win the trophy and a  golf simulator […]

Reeds win Junior Schools Cup at The Shire London

The Reeds school team made up of Teacher Terry Harrison and pupils Scott Murray and Hugo Figueiredo won the gross event by 11 shots over Millfield. Worthing College win the first round of the British Schools & Colleges Tour. Worthing won the gross team event by 3 shots over newcomers Merrist Wood with Angmering School down to 5 players coming in third place
