The Grammar Schools at Leeds (last years area winners) beat newcomers St Bees to make the area finals in the Independent Schools matchplay Tournament

Bedford won 3-0 against Merchant Taylors this week and now play Sibford in the semi finals of the Independent Schools Matchplay Tournament
Birkdale make area finals
Birkdale beat Birkenhead 2 to 1 to make the area finals in the Independent Schools Matchplay Tournament. The members of Caldy GC complimented both sides for their manners and mature behaviour both on and off the course. The conditions were not great (v cold and windy) so all the lads did amazingly well to keep going.
Stowe win through to Area Finals
Stowe beat RGS Worcester today 3 nil to reach the area finals in the Independent Schools matchplay Tournament. They now face last years winners Malvern with a chance to make the National finals at Carnoustie in April
